Board to meet for annual planning sessions

Board to meet for annual planning sessions
Posted on 10/03/2019
The Tahoma School Board will meet for their annual planning process in two work-study sessions this week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, and Saturday, Oct. 5. Both sessions are open to the public and will be held at the Central Services Center.

The agenda includes planning and discussion of student housing; the district's transition to a new superintendent; funding and potential levy measures for the February ballot; an interlocal agreement with the City of Maple Valley; legislative priorities; work study updates and calendar; and 2019-2020 board reorganization.

Because it is a work-study session, the agenda does not include action or a public comment period. The next public comment period will occur during the regular board meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Central Services Center.
