COVID-19 protocols & procedures
Posted on 09/23/2021
Here are key documents that will help explain Tahoma's protocols and procedures for preventing the spread of COVID-19 among students and staff.

Please know that all of these documents are subject to change as the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) updates its requirements, and as we receive feedback from students, families and staff.

⬜  Return-to-School Guidebook: COVID-19 prevention and response strategies

This document is designed to share the ways we are modifying operational practices to keep staff and students as healthy and safe as possible while COVID-19 continues to affect our community. Some highlights of the Guidebook include expectations for: transportation, attendance, mask-wearing and what to do when someone on campus tests positive for COVID-19. Click here to view.

⬜  What should you expect if your student is ill or needs to quarantine?

We always want to support our students, families and staff during times of illness. With COVID-19, we anticipate supporting students for time out of class because of illness, asymptomatic positive cases and quarantines due to exposure. This document provides our shared goals and expectations for staff and students if a student is out of school for any of those reasons. Click here to view.
