Beginning last school year (2022-23), Tahoma School District piloted a 2-year professional development schedule that led to adjusted start and end times Monday–Thursday for all schools, and a two-hour early dismissal each Friday for all schools. That 2-year pilot is ending at the end of our current school year. In evaluating how to best support our educators and make the best use of our professional development time, all Tahoma schools will be reverting to their previous daily school schedules in 2024-25, including a 90-minute early dismissal on most Fridays.
