Introducing ParentSquare Next School Year

Introducing ParentSquare Next School Year
Posted on 06/03/2024

We are excited to announce that beginning next school year (2024-25),  we are adopting a new form of school-to-home communication in Tahoma School District called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with your child’s class, school, and school district. It provides a safe way for parents, teachers, principals, school staff and district staff to:

  • Send and receive school and class information
  • Share pictures and files
  • See calendar items
  • Sign up to volunteer
  • Schedule parent-teacher conferences
  • and much more . . . all in one centralized place!

All district and school, grade level and classroom communication will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices). ParentSquare will not replace Skyward or Google Classroom for student grading, and that information will remain in those platforms.

Families will be receiving an invitation email this Thursday, June 6 from “Tahoma School District via ParentSquare.” We encourage you to register your account when you receive the email so you can access important back-to-school information for next school year. If you will not have a student in Tahoma School District next year (2024-25), you do not need to register for ParentSquare.

More instructions will be sent in your ParentSquare invitation email this Thursday, June 6.
