Does the school district pay anything for my benefits?
Yes! What the district pays on your behalf for your SEBB benefits is called a funding rate. SEBB’s Current Funding Rate-Employer Paid for each SEBB eligible employee (regardless if they elect into medical or if they waive) is currently $1,000 per employee. Tahoma School District pays the funding rate monthly for each SEBB eligible employee to The Health Care Authority.
The following chart shows you the current breakdown of the SEBB Funding Rate.
